The spinoff, Private Eyes West Coast, follows Shade and Everett as they leave their Toronto-based P.I. Firm behind and relocate to the West Coast, seeking a quieter life. However, their plans for a peaceful retirement from detective work are quickly derailed when they stumble upon a murder scene during a night out.

Convinced of her innocence, Shade and Everett dive back into the world of high-stakes investigations, this time without their trusted network of Toronto contacts. The series will explore their efforts to build a new life and a new P.I. Firm in an unfamiliar city, tackling cases that range from tracking down a missing student in the wilderness of British Columbia to extracting a murder confession from a surfer in Tofino.
