Jeff Ament Announces Montana Grind Soundtrack and New P.E.T.S. EP

Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament will release the official soundtrack for the documentary Montana Grind alongside a new EP from his side project, P.E.T.S., on June 19, 2026. The release will be available as a limited-edition vinyl bundle through the official Ten Club store, featuring the documentary score on a “Concrete Gray” 12-inch LP and the EP 4 record on violet 7-inch vinyl.

What is the Montana Grind documentary?

Directed by Danilo dos Reis, Montana Grind chronicles over a decade of skateboarding culture across rural Montana and Native American reservations. According to production notes, the project highlights the transformative power of the sport in isolated communities. The film’s origin dates back eight years, when dos Reis challenged Ament to compose a theme song, which eventually expanded into a full-length musical score. The soundtrack captures the isolation and sense of community inherent to the Montana landscape, featuring original compositions by Ament.
