Jennifer Lopez Embarks on ‘Happy Era’ with Revamped Las Vegas Residency

Jennifer Lopez is entering a new chapter, describing it as her “happy era,” as she relaunches her Las Vegas residency, “The JLo Demonstrate,” at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Lopez shared her excitement during rehearsals with “Extra’s” Derek Hough, highlighting the fresh energy and new musical additions to the show.

A Fresh Take on a Classic

“We’re highly excited,” Lopez told Derek Hough. “We’re doing the show again in Vegas, and we’re there every weekend in March, which is exciting, and adding some new songs to the show.” The residency, running from March 6-28, promises a theatrical spectacle designed to take audiences on a journey through Lopez’s career, “from the Bronx to Broadway.”

New Music and a Timeless Show

Adding to the excitement, Lopez is releasing a new song, “Save Me Tonight,” a collaboration with David Guetta, to coincide with the show’s return. “It’s been a while since I put out a new song, but David Guetta had this song, and I just loved it,” Lopez explained. “It just felt very much of the moment for me.”

Despite the new additions, Lopez emphasized the core of the show remains true to her artistic identity. “You see who I am, I think, as not just an entertainer, a performer, but as an artist and as a human,” she said.

Gratitude and Passion for Performing

Lopez expressed deep gratitude for her fans and her enduring love of performing. “I’ve never looked at it as a job. It’s just what I love to do,” she shared. “I just perceive fortunate that I have these amazing fans who’ve supported me for so many years, and there’s so much love that I feel that I always want to give the love back to them. It’s just been an incredible blessing in my life. I don’t know what I would do without it.”

What to Expect from “The JLo Show”

“The JLo Show” features a massive 17-piece band, including an all-female string section, and incorporates Lopez’s iconic hits like “Jenny from the Block” and “Waiting for Tonight.” The production aims to be “the quintessential J.Lo show,” offering a dynamic and exciting experience for audiences.
