Los Angeles, CA – Jessie Buckley led a contingent of British and Irish stars on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards, held Sunday night at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall. Fresh off wins at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, Buckley is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her work in Hamnet.

Buckley exuded elegance in a custom black and white Balenciaga gown, complete with a dramatic veil. She was joined by fellow nominees Aimee Lou Wood, Erin Doherty, and Emily Watson, showcasing the strength of British and Irish talent in Hollywood.

Erin Doherty looked glamorous in a custom pale pink satin Louis Vuitton dress and matching heels. Doherty’s nomination is for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie, recognizing her performance in the Netflix series Adolescence.

Mia Goth made a striking appearance in an embellished dress with a ruffled train, marking her first red carpet appearance since her husband, Shia LaBeouf, faced a second battery arrest in ten days. LaBeouf was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from a Mardi Gras bar fight and is now required to enter rehab and undergo drug and alcohol testing.
Wunmi Mosaku wowed in a custom Louis Vuitton red gown and Messika jewelry, as she is up for Best Supporting Actress. Paul Mescal, Buckley’s co-star in Hamnet, showcased his signature style in an oversized double-breasted blazer and tie shirt, and is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.

Awards Season Competition
The Actor Awards, streaming live on Netflix, will present honors across 28 categories spanning film, television, and limited series. One Battle After Another leads the film nominations with seven, followed by Sinners with five.
The race for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Michael B. Jordan, Ethan Hawke, and Jesse Plemons. Competing for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role are Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, and Emma Stone.
On the television side, The Studio dominates the comedy categories with five nominations, while The Diplomat, Landman, The Pitt, Severance, and The White Lotus are all nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
Harrison Ford Honored
Hollywood legend Harrison Ford will receive the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award at the ceremony, recognizing his five-decade career in iconic franchises like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Bridgerton breakout Yerin Ha has been named this year’s Ambassador for The Actor Awards.
