Jochem Myjer Announces Final ‘Net Alsof’ Performance as Benefit Show for Narcolepsie
Rotterdam, Netherlands – Comedian Jochem Myjer will perform one final show of his sold-out comedy act, “Net Alsof,” as a benefit performance for the Stichting Wakker Worden Wakker Worden (Wake Up Foundation). The show will take place on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Nieuwe Luxor Theater in Rotterdam, with all proceeds going towards research into narcolepsy, a sleep-wake disorder affecting Myjer’s daughter, Limoni.
Unique Ticket Sales Process
Tickets for this special performance will go on sale Monday, March 23, 2026, at 8:00 PM CET. Unlike typical Jochem Myjer ticket sales which utilize a digital lottery system, tickets for this benefit show will be sold on a first-approach, first-served basis to those who physically line up at the Nieuwe Luxor Theater in Rotterdam. This method aims to increase the chances of fans securing tickets compared to his regular performances. Jochem Myjer will be present during the ticket sales and will supply a gift to the first 20 people in line.
Raising Awareness for Narcolepsy
Myjer is using this platform to raise awareness for narcolepsy, a chronic neurological disorder that affects the brain’s ability to control sleep-wake cycles. Approximately 1 in 3,000 people in the Netherlands are affected by this condition. The Stichting Wakker Worden Wakker Worden is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with narcolepsy by funding research into its causes and treatments. Symptoms can include excessive daytime sleepiness and sudden attacks of muscle weakness, often triggered by strong emotions.
‘Net Alsof’ and Recent Accolades
“Net Alsof” is Myjer’s seventh full-length show since winning the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival in 1997. The show has been a resounding success, selling out venues across the Netherlands. Myjer was awarded the Poelifinario in 2025, recognizing it as the most impressive cabaret program of the year. This benefit performance marks the final opportunity to see “Net Alsof” this season.
Supporting the Stichting Wakker Worden Wakker Worden
The Stichting Wakker Worden Wakker Worden aims to improve the lives of individuals with narcolepsy by supporting research and advocating for better treatment options. While significant progress has been made in managing the symptoms of narcolepsy, the underlying causes remain largely unknown, highlighting the importance of continued research efforts.
