Recent Musical Milestones

The 2027 tour follows a period of high productivity for the artist. Bonamassa released The Spirit Of Rory Live from Cork, a tribute to Irish guitarist Rory Gallagher. According to Billboard, this release marked Bonamassa’s 31st album to reach No. 1 on the Blues Albums chart, further extending his record for the most chart-topping releases in that category.

Earlier this year, he also reached the top of the same chart with B.B. King’s Blues Summit 100. That project featured a wide array of collaborators, including Eric Clapton, Slash, Buddy Guy, and Gary Clark Jr., celebrating what would’ve been B.B. King’s 100th birthday.

Ongoing 2026 Touring Commitments

Before the 2027 winter dates begin, Bonamassa maintains a rigorous touring schedule throughout the remainder of 2026. This includes a North American summer run, a European tour scheduled for the fall, and appearances at marquee industry events. He is slated to perform at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival in Austin, Texas, and the "Buddy’s Got The Blues: A 90th Birthday Concert Celebration" at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Additionally, he continues his annual "Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea" event.
