John King of Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon, Passes Away

John King, a resident of Castlerea Road, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon, passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2026, while in the care of the nurses and staff at Sonas Nursing Home Knock.

A Life Remembered

Mr. King was predeceased by his wife, Dolores, and his son, James. He is survived by his son, Jonathon. daughter, Fiona Brady (Stamullen); son-in-law, Barry; granddaughter, Cara; grandson, Rian; and sister, Catherine (Kay), as well as numerous relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing will take place at The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen, on Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM, concluding with evening prayer at 7:00 PM. The funeral will arrive at The Cathedral of the Annunciation & St. Nathy, Ballaghaderreen, on Wednesday afternoon for a Mass of the Resurrection at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Kilcolman Cemetery.

The family requests privacy at their home on Wednesday.
