Rismon Sianipar Seeks Restorative Justice in Jokowi Diploma Case
Jakarta – Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar, a suspect in the case alleging a fake diploma attributed to Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), has submitted a request for restorative justice (RJ). The request was made to investigators at Polda Metro Jaya last week, according to Kombes Iman Imanuddin, Director of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Detik News.
RJ Application Under Review
Kombes Imanuddin stated that Sianipar, along with his legal counsel, formally submitted the RJ application. Sianipar and his lawyer returned to Polda Metro Jaya on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, to inquire about the status of their request. The case involves allegations of a falsified diploma belonging to President Jokowi. Polda Metro Jaya initially named eight suspects, divided into two groups. The first group included Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi, and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.
