Josh Giddey Reaches Bulls Milestone, Matching Scottie Pippen’s Triple-Double Record

Guard Josh Giddey is emerging as a key player, currently averaging career-highs in points (17.8 PPG), rebounds (8.2), and assists (8.4). Despite missing 21 games due to a hamstring injury, Giddey’s impact on the court has been significant.

Giddey Ties Scottie Pippen’s Triple-Double Record

Recently, Giddey achieved a notable milestone, matching Scottie Pippen’s franchise record for triple-doubles. The NBA announced on its X profile that Giddey recorded his 15th triple-double with the Bulls following their 120-97 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.

In that game, Giddey finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. Michael Jordan remains the Bulls’ all-time leader in triple-doubles with 28.

Bulls’ Offensive Depth on Display

Giddey wasn’t the only Bulls player to contribute offensively against the Bucks. Six other players also scored in double figures, highlighting the team’s depth. The Bucks were playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is currently recovering from a right calf strain.
