The Kansas men’s golf team is traveling to Maui, Hawaii, for its final event of the fall slate, competing in the Ka’anapali Classic at Ka’anapali Golf Resort from October 25 to October 27, 2026, kuathletics.com reported. The tournament features a 20-team field hosted by the University of Hawai’i, marking the conclusion of the Jayhawks’ autumn schedule.
Kansas Maintains Same Lineup After Quail Valley Performance
Kansas enters the competition with the exact same lineup it sent to the Quail Valley Invitational in Florida, relying on a group of veterans and underclassmen. Senior Max Jelinek and sophomore Arthur Carlier anchor the squad following eighth-place finishes at Quail Valley, where both players carded matching totals of 212 (-4), finishing six shots off the tournament lead. Carlier secured his finish by shooting a four-under 68 in the final round, while senior Noah Holtzman opened the Florida event with a five-under 67 to tie for 11th place at three-under par.
Senior Will Baker and junior Hartej Grewal also return for the Maui trip. Baker fired a five-under 67 in his final round at Quail Valley to finish in a tie for 18th place at two-under 214, and Grewal collected 11 birdies across three rounds in Florida to tie for 33rd at one-over 217. Freshman Nicolas Vidal-Reig rounds out the six-player Kansas roster after scoring a four-over 220 to tie for 50th at Quail Valley, highlighted by back-to-back birdies on holes five and six during the third round.
