Kathryn Thomas Career Move: Daughter Inspires New Path

Kathryn Thomas has announced an exciting career pivot, which has been inspired by her four-year-old daughter, Grace. The TV and radio presenter,46,who began hosting the breakfast radio slot on Dublin’s Q102 earlier this year is taking on a new challenge and is launching a podcast, which is set to be released on Tuesday.

Kathryn’s podcast will be called Are We There Yet and it will feature a range of ‘fascinating’ guests from Trinny Woodall to Cecelia Ahern to discuss life’s unexpected twists and turns and share their ‘revelations, wisdoms and regrets.’

The proud mum-of-two recorded a video to give fans a little bit of context on her latest venture, explaining it was inspired by her youngest child.

‘It was completely inspired by my four-year-old and a question that many parents would have heard from the back of the car, usually five minutes into any road trip,’ she joked.

Kathryn continued: ‘But it felt like the perfect title because sometimes you’re cruising along and life goes brilliantly, and other times it comes along and gives you a royal kick in the arse and sends you completely in the other direction.

‘And its not about whether tough stuff is going to happen or whether bumps in the road are going to present themselves, but it’s how we handle them when they do.

‘So they were the type of conversations that I wanted to have, and I have spoken to some brilliant, amazing people who are really honest and open and vulnerable.
