Kent State Baseball Opens MAC Play with Momentum, Faces Bowling Green
KENT, Ohio – The Kent State baseball team begins Mid-American Conference play this weekend, hosting Bowling Green at Schoonover Stadium. The series opens Friday at 3 p.m., marking the start of conference competition for both programs. Kent State enters with a 9-3 record, leading the MAC in several key statistical categories, while Bowling Green is 2-8.
Flashes Riding High
Kent State has found its stride, going 4-0 at home with sweeps of Rhode Island and a midweek victory over St. Bonaventure. The team is second in the MAC with 96 runs scored through 12 games.
