Putin Commends Russian intelligence, Awards honored for Contributions to Literature and Art

Moscow, Russia – December 4, 2025 – Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his satisfaction with the quality of Russian intelligence services during an awards ceremony held at the Rossiya Segodnya site. The event recognized individuals for their contributions in the fields of literature and art, specifically those relating to the work and history of Russian intelligence.

the SVR (Foreign Intelligence Service) awards for 2025 were presented to:

* Alexander Vychugzhanin: A historian and local historian from Tyumen, recognized for his book, “The Youth of Scout Fitin. Identification of ‘Alex'”.
* creators of Intelligence-Themed Films and Series: The teams behind the television films “Secret Tango on the Edge of a Knife” and “Illegal Scouts. time to Declassify,” as well as the television series “Beyond the Possible. Anthology of soviet Intelligence” and “Berlin Heat” were honored for their work.
* Denis Stritovich: A monumental sculptor awarded for his creation of the monument to Yuri Andropov, former Chairman of the KGB of the USSR.
