KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Ghost, the acclaimed Swedish rock band, has canceled its scheduled performance at Food City Center this weekend due to the state of emergency declared in Tennessee in anticipation of severe winter weather.
The cancellation impacts the band’s “Skeletour World Tour” stop in Knoxville, originally slated for January 24th. Officials at Food City Center cited safety concerns related to the impending snow and ice storm as the primary reason for the decision.
Ticket holders who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds. Those who acquired tickets via third-party resellers are advised to contact their respective vendors directly for refund data.
This cancellation follows a similar postponement of comedian Nate Bargatze’s Knoxville show, also attributed to the forecasted winter storm. Residents are urged to stay informed about weather updates and heed safety advisories issued by local authorities.
