AFC Champions League Elite Match Operations Apply Standard J.League Spectator Rules at Kyoto Stadium
The J.League’s standard spectator guidelines apply to the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Elite fixture at Kyoto Stadium, with match operations managed under tournament security regulations, sanga-fc.jp reported. Fans attending the upcoming continental matches must comply with specific stadium rules, entrance procedures, and uniform restrictions outlined by club organizers.
The match safety management protocols aim to provide secure spectating conditions for all visitors. Unauthorized prohibited acts or security threats can result in immediate ejection from the stadium, an entry ban, or restrictions preventing attendance at other venues.
Ticket Types Determine Stadium Entry Points
Spectators must use designated entry points determined by their ticket type. Stairway 1 Entrance serves holders of Sanga Premium Seats, Exciting Seats, Sanga Seats, Main S Reserved Seats, and Balcony Reserved Seats. Stairway 2 Entrance handles Back S and A Reserved Seats, Back Upper seats, Balcony Upper Reserved Seats, and Home Reserved Seats. Stairway 5 Entrance is reserved exclusively for Visitor Reserved Seats.
Stairway 2 closes from approximately the 35th minute of the first half until the end of halftime to accommodate a smoking area. General entry opens two hours before kick-off, except for the Matchday 2 fixture against Ratchaburi, where gates open two hours and thirty minutes prior to kick-off. Early entry is not permitted.
All attendees must open their own bags for staff inspection during security checks. Bottles, cans, and strollers are prohibited inside the venue, though a stroller check area operates in front of the Related Parties Reception. Heavily intoxicated individuals will be denied entry.
Uniform Rules Prohibit Opposing Team Goods
Strict uniform and cheering regulations govern specific seating zones. Visitor team goods and cheering are prohibited in home-dominant sections, including Sanga Premium Seats, Main S Reserved Seats, and Home Reserved Seats. Conversely, home team goods and cheering are banned inside the Visitor Reserved Seats area. Supporters cannot bypass these restrictions by turning opposing uniforms inside out or hiding team emblems.
Fans requiring temporary exit must obtain a re-entry ticket from staff at Stairway 1 Entrance or the Visitor Gate. Re-entry requires presenting both the valid match ticket and the re-entry ticket.
Trains and Buses Connect to Kyoto Stadium
Kyoto Stadium sits a three-minute walk from JR Kameoka Station. Trains from JR Kyoto Station take approximately 20 minutes via rapid service or 30 minutes via local train. Bus transport is available via Keihan Kyoto Kotsu from Hankyu Katsura Station East Exit to JR Kameoka Station, a 40-minute journey.
Bicycle and moped parking is available near the Stairway 5 Entrance with a capacity of approximately 56 spaces. Overflow parking is directed to the event space adjacent to Kamekita Sports Park, and vehicles must be retrieved within 45 minutes after the match concludes.
