L.A.B. Golf Expands LINK Putter Line with Traditional Blade Designs

L.A.B. Golf has introduced two new putters, the LINK 2.1 and LINK 2.2, designed to appeal to golfers who prefer the seem and perceive of traditional blade putters while still benefiting from the company’s Lie Angle Balance technology. The new models, released on March 18, 2026, aim to remove barriers to entry for golfers hesitant to try L.A.B.’s unconventional designs.

Addressing the Demand for Traditional Aesthetics

For years, L.A.B. Golf has been known for its innovative, albeit visually distinct, putter designs. Founder Sam Hahn acknowledged the need to offer more familiar shapes, stating, “Putters are SUCH a personal thing. Introducing the LINK 2.1 and LINK 2.2

Enhanced Feel with Flymilled Steel Face

To ensure a traditional feel, L.A.B. Incorporated a new flymilled steel face into the LINK 2.1, and 2.2. This was done to address the feel differences created by the aluminum riser hosel, which is integral to the Lie Angle Balance technology. [Golf Digest]

Early Adoption on the PGA Tour

The new LINK putters were introduced on the PGA Tour in March 2026, with Aldrich Potgieter becoming the first player to utilize one in competition, gaming a 2.1 at the Players Championship. [Golf Digest]
