Lampertheim Sees Success with Recent Blood Donation Drive
Lampertheim, Germany – A recent blood donation drive hosted by the German Red Cross (DRK) Ortsverband Lampertheim was deemed a success, with 100 donors participating on March 2nd, 2026. The event, held at the Alfred-Delp-Schule, saw strong community support, including a visit from Lampertheim’s Spargelkönigin Nadine.
Blood Donation Event Details
The DRK Ortsverband Lampertheim held its second blood donation event of the year on Monday, March 2nd, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A total of 133 appointment slots were available, and the event successfully accommodated 100 donors. According to reports, the DRK was pleased with the turnout, especially considering a previous donation event took place just two weeks prior on Rosenmontag.
Spargelkönigin Nadine Supports Blood Donation
Lampertheim’s Spargelkönigin Nadine, an active member of the DRK-Ortsverein Lampertheim, participated in the blood donation drive. As a repeat donor, she showed her appreciation by providing an autographed card to each donor as a thank-you gesture. Nadine III was recently enthroned as the Spargelkönigin.
Donor Health and Safety
Prior to donation, all potential donors underwent a health check by the on-site laboratory team and medical professionals. Twelve individuals were deemed ineligible to donate due to health concerns. The DRK emphasized that the health and safety of donors remain a top priority.
First-Time Donors Encouraged
The event welcomed 13 first-time blood donors, demonstrating a growing willingness within the community to support this vital cause.
