Man Arrested in Connection to Fatal Stabbing in West Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV – A 22-year-old man, Justin Ringer, has been arrested and charged with open murder with a deadly weapon following the death of a man found in a west Las Vegas parking lot on February 14, 2026. The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Daniel Ohayon, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Details of the Incident
On Saturday, February 14, 2026, at approximately 5:46 p.m., officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to reports of an unconscious man bleeding in the 2000 block of North Buffalo Drive (Las Vegas Review-Journal). The man, later identified as Ohayon, was suffering from apparent stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation and Arrest
Investigators determined that Ohayon had been with two or three other individuals prior to the incident. Witnesses reported seeing these individuals fleeing the area before police arrived (KSNV).
Justin Ringer was taken into custody on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, and booked into the Clark County Detention Center (FOX5 Vegas). He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, February 19, 2026 (FOX5 Vegas).
