Bloober Team, the Polish studio behind the Silent Hill 2 remake, has announced Layers of Fear 3, the next installment in its psychological horror series. The announcement came during a 10th-anniversary stream celebrating the original Layers of Fear, released in 2016 [TheGamer].

Contrary to speculation, Bloober Team is revisiting the Layers of Fear franchise after achieving acclaim for its perform on the Silent Hill 2 remake [TheGamer]. The original Layers of Fear debuted in 2016, followed by Layers of Fear 2 in 2019, and a remake of the original title in 2023 [TheGamer]. Layers of Fear 3 will be the fourth title in the series.
What We Know So Far
The teaser for Layers of Fear 3 features live-action footage of a man exhibiting behaviors reminiscent of characters from previous games, including references to roses and poems by William Blake [Kotaku]. A key detail suggests the game is set in the present day, contrasting with the historical settings of earlier titles [Kotaku]. Bloober Team’s Recent Success
