Ledger Leases Union Square Office Space, Expanding U.S. Presence
Ledger, a Paris-based crypto company specializing in crypto security, has secured a 3,437-square-foot lease at 817 Broadway, located south of Manhattan’s Union Square. The two-year and five-and-a-half-month lease, with an asking rent of $120 per square foot, brings the office building to full occupancy, according to Commercial Observer.
Deal Details and Representation
Rob Kluge, Adam Henick, and Roy Abraham from Current Real Estate Advisors represented Ledger in the lease negotiations. Daniel Levine and Jason Greenstein from Newmark represented the landlord, Taconic Partners.
Strategic Expansion into the U.S. Market
The new office space marks Ledger’s first physical presence in New York and supports the company’s broader expansion within the U.S. Market. Kluge stated the location reflects Ledger’s brand and provides strategic proximity to other crypto companies in the area. This move follows a multiyear global partnership agreement with the San Antonio Spurs, which included Ledger’s logo on team uniforms, further strengthening the company’s presence in its top market globally.
Leadership Appointments and Company Growth
Ledger recently appointed John Andrews as its chief financial officer. Andrews brings over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and financial services and will play a key role in leading the company’s U.S. Expansion. Pascal Gauthier, chairman and CEO of Ledger, emphasized Andrews’s experience at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets as crucial for the company’s growth.
