Actor Lee Jong-hyuk’s second son Lee Jun-su discusses romance history ahead of tvN STORY premiere

Actor Lee Jong-hyuk’s second son, Lee Jun-su, revealed he has dated five people since elementary school ahead of his appearance on the upcoming tvN STORY reality show My Kid’s Romance 3. Edaily reported that the network released a pre-interview video on October 21 featuring the father-son duo, highlighting contrasting expectations for the upcoming television project.

Lee Jong-hyuk previously watched his older son, Lee Tak-su, appear in the first season of the dating show. While he felt confident about his oldest son, the actor admitted he feels anxious about his younger son’s unpredictability, describing Lee Jun-su as a rugby ball that bounces in unexpected directions. Lee Jun-su dismissed the concern, stating that predictability lacks excitement.

Dating priorities spark lighthearted family banter

When Lee Jong-hyuk asked if his son considered academics important, Lee Jun-su bluntly answered that romance matters more. The remark prompted his father to jokingly tell him to enlist in the military instead.

Lee Jun-su also reflected on his past relationships, explaining that he counts elementary school romances because mutual agreements to date defined them. He claimed he held high popularity during those early school years, tallying a total of five past relationships. His shortest romance lasted only one week.

Lee Jong-hyuk questioned whether a week-long connection actually constituted dating, calling it mere flirting. Lee Jun-su defended the relationship while expressing regret over his past confession methods, admitting he felt humiliated after sending a heart emoji via message to ask a classmate to date him.

Upcoming broadcast schedule

My Kid’s Romance 3 premieres on November 11 on tvN STORY.
