Leading global game developer Wemade has announced the official launch of the global version of its flagship MMORPG, Legend of YMIR, on the PC gaming platform Steam on April 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM KST. This launch represents a pivotal milestone in the game’s global expansion strategy.

Wemade aims to circumvent traditional platform constraints by tapping into the Steam ecosystem to secure a sustainable, long-term user base and enhance accessibility for players worldwide. Leveraging Steam’s global infrastructure, Wemade intends to establish Legend of YMIR as a premier global PC franchise.
Introducing the Rune Fighter Class
Coinciding with the Steam launch, a major content expansion will introduce the “Rune Fighter” class. This new combat class wields the ancient power of runes, offering a unique and versatile combat style. The update is designed to expand the game’s tactical depth, attracting new players and incentivizing veteran users to return.
Industry Partnerships and Competitive Scene
Earlier this month, Wemade partnered with Razer to host the inaugural YMIR Cup World Championship, bringing together elite players from around the globe.
