The Lenovo Legion Tab is geared towards mobile gaming, the IdeaTab Pro Gen 2 offers a versatile all-around experience, and the ThinkTab X11 is designed for demanding work environments requiring durability.

A Gauntlet for Gaming: Lenovo Legion Tab

The Lenovo Legion Tab series has consistently received positive reviews, and the fifth-generation model builds on that foundation. It features a compact 8.8-inch screen with a high resolution of 3,040 x 1,904 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio, resulting in a pixel density of 408 ppi. Brightness reaches 600 nits under typical utilize and peaks at 750 nits, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color standard.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 8GB of RAM, with 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, the Legion Tab is designed for high-performance gaming. The IdeaTab Pro Gen 2 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor with a boosted NPU, and is configurable with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It supports microSD cards up to 2TB and features a 10,200mAh battery, Bluetooth 6.0, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Additional features include an 8MP front camera, a 13MP rear camera, four speakers tuned by JBL with Dolby Atmos, and USB-C 3.2 ports. Available in Luna Grey, Cloud Grey, and Jelly Mint, the IdeaTab Pro Gen 2 will go on sale in July for $419.

Lenovo is committed to providing long-term software support for the IdeaTab Pro Gen 2, with a guaranteed update to Android 18 and four years of security updates.

The ThinkTab X11 is engineered for demanding work environments, particularly in frontline and industrial settings such as manufacturing, construction, and energy. Its ruggedized design includes a removable battery that allows for passthrough power without compromising battery health.

While thicker and heavier than standard tablets, the ThinkTab X11 maintains a relatively unassuming appearance. It is built to withstand short drops and submersion in water, meeting MIL-STD-810H and IP68 standards. The device supports gloved and wet use, and its rear panel is removable. Powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, the ThinkTab X11 prioritizes durability, and reliability. It is expected to be available in the second quarter of the year, starting at $499.
