Bomb Threats Reported at Lexington Hospitals – Investigation Ongoing
Lexington, KY – On Sunday, March 15, 2026, the Lexington Police Department responded to bomb threats reported at two CHI St. Joseph Health hospitals in Lexington, Kentucky: CHI St. Joseph Health at 1 St. Joseph Drive and Saint Joseph East at 150 North Creek Drive. The Lexington Police Department received the initial call regarding the threats around 1:15 p.m. Four police units were immediately dispatched to both hospital locations to conduct searches.
Both hospital units were thoroughly searched, and authorities confirmed that no bomb devices were discovered. During the search, both hospitals were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
