Lidl Ireland Offers Airmax 600 Dehumidifier for €39.99 to Combat Dampness
As Ireland continues to experience wet weather, Lidl Ireland is offering the Silentnight Airmax 600 Dehumidifier at a reduced price of €39.99, down from €49.99. The dehumidifier will be available in Lidl stores starting Thursday, March 5th.

Dehumidifiers are becoming increasingly popular household appliances, particularly during the colder months. They help reduce condensation, prevent mould and mildew growth, and can even lower household bills by reducing the demand for energy-intensive heating to dry clothes indoors.
How Dehumidifiers Work and Save Money
Homeowners often reduce ventilation during winter by keeping windows closed and drying clothes inside, which increases moisture levels in the air. A dehumidifier draws moisture from the air, mitigating these issues.
The running costs of a dehumidifier are significantly lower than those of electric or gas heating. While electric heaters can cost between €0.35 and €1.00 per hour to operate, and gas central heating averages €1.30 to €2.00 per hour, the Airmax 600 Dehumidifier is estimated to cost between 5c and 18c per hour to run. Over a 150-day period during the colder months, using a dehumidifier for eight hours a day would cost approximately €156, compared to €1,920 for heating alone for the same duration. Even using heat for just four hours a day alongside an eight-hour dehumidifier cycle would result in savings of €804.
