First Baby of 2026 Welcomed at Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital
Lincoln City, OR – Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital joyfully announced the arrival of Mansa Jah’son Abubakhir Hart, the first baby born at the hospital in 2026. mansa made his debut at 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7th, bringing immense happiness to his parents, sierra Williams and Jason Hart Jr., and his 20-month-old sister, Svntaaye Hart.
The family, residing in Siletz, received a celebratory gift basket from the North Lincoln Hospital Foundation and the Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital Auxiliary, a tradition honoring the “New Year baby.” While Mansa peacefully rested in his mother’s arms during the presentation, his sister Svntaaye – whose name is pronounced Sun-tie-yay in the Siletz tribal language – enthusiastically explored the room and the contents of the basket.
Mansa weighed in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 21 inches long, mirroring the exact birth weight and length of his sister. A remarkable coincidence also marks their birthdays, as both siblings were born on the seventh day of the month.
Sierra Williams plans to return to her role as an infant child care provider for the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, while Jason Hart Jr. will continue operating his business, Sanitized Living, specializing in commercial and residential cleaning services.
