Lion Air Umrah Flight from Jeddah to Jakarta delayed 2 Days

Jakarta – Lion Air flight JT-111 on the Jeddah-jakarta route, carrying numerous Umrah pilgrims, is delayed for up to two days. Lion Air has apologized for the disruption.

“Lion Air sincerely apologizes to all Umrah pilgrims for the inconvenience caused by the delayed departure of flight JT111 on the Jeddah – Jakarta route. The safety, security, and comfort of the pilgrims are always our top priority,” said Danang Mandala Prihantoro, Strategic Corporate Communications for Lion Group, in a statement on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Danang explained that the Airbus A330 aircraft, registered PK-LEH, underwent a routine technical inspection before departure. The inspection revealed components needing replacement and further work, requiring additional time to complete.
