TCU Baseball Heads to Loyola Marymount After Series at UCLA
The TCU Horned Frogs baseball team will continue its 2026 season with a Monday afternoon matchup against Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles, California, following a three-game series at UCLA.
Recent Games
TCU recently concluded a series at No. 1 UCLA, dropping the first two games 2-10 and 1-5 on February 20th and 21st, respectively. The Frogs fell in the series finale on February 22nd, 5-15 (8 innings). Prior to the UCLA series, TCU faced UT Arlington on February 17th, resulting in an 8-11 loss.
Shriners Children’s College Showdown
Earlier in February, TCU participated in the Shriners Children’s College Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. They secured wins against Vanderbilt (5-4 on February 13th) and Arkansas (5-4 on February 14th), but lost to Oklahoma (2-12 in 7 innings) on February 15th.
Upcoming Schedule
Following the game at LMU on February 23rd, TCU will return to Fort Worth to host New Haven for a three-game series from February 27th to March 1st. All games against New Haven will be broadcast on ESPN+ and KTCU 88.7 FM.
2026 Season Overview
TCU entered the 2026 season ranked 10th in the D1Baseball Preseason Top 25 Rankings. The team was 39-20 overall last season and 19-11 in conference games, finishing third in the 14-team standings. They fell to Arizona in the final game of the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship.
