Precision Engineering from the Kronach Facility
German luxury electronics manufacturer Loewe has launched the Antares, a new line of OLED televisions available in 42, 48, 55, and 65-inch models. Every 4K OLED panel is individually calibrated at the company’s production facility in Kronach, Germany. This factory-level attention ensures precise color reproduction and deep contrast ratios. The display supports industry-standard HDR formats, providing a consistent, cinematic viewing experience regardless of the chosen screen size.
Modular Aesthetics and Motorized Positioning
The Antares series abandons the “one-size-fits-all” approach, inviting owners to modify the television’s exterior. The units feature interchangeable aluminum onlays, available in either black or silver finishes.
Installation is equally flexible. Loewe provides a range of mounting options, including wall mounts and various floor stands. For those seeking a dynamic setup, select floor-standing configurations support “Magic.Motion” technology, allowing the television to rotate via remote control. Beyond aesthetics, the chassis is engineered for longevity, designed to facilitate easier servicing and potential hardware upgrades over the product’s lifespan.

Integrated Audio and Ecosystem Connectivity
While the Antares includes “Loewe Invisible Sound” technology with speakers integrated directly into the chassis, the company offers an optional 80W front-firing soundbar for £300. The television is designed to function as a center speaker within a larger home cinema configuration, allowing for seamless integration with external surround sound systems.
The device operates on the Loewe OS9 platform. Smart features include integrated support for major streaming platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, YouTube, and Spotify. The system also supports Apple AirPlay and incorporates Matter compatibility, enabling integration with broader smart home ecosystems.
Performance Standards for Modern Gaming
For gamers, the Antares includes HDMI 2.1 connectivity with support for 4K resolution at refresh rates up to 144Hz. The television also features Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), technical standards designed to reduce input lag and screen tearing for modern gaming consoles and PCs. Furthermore, the unit utilizes Loewe’s Dual Channel platform, an architecture that enables live TV recording and timeshift functionality via USB.
Market Entry and Scaling Costs
The Loewe Antares is currently available for purchase. Pricing scales based on the chosen screen size, ranging from £2,500 to £4,000. The matching 80W soundbar is sold as a separate accessory for £300.
