This incident occurs following reports of vandalism in nearby areas of Letterkenny. In November 2024, Gardaí appealed for witnesses after a number of houses were spray-painted in Glencar, Willowbrook, Glenoughty Close, and The Elms. Highland Radio reported that youths were observed knocking on doors and running away, with some properties subsequently being graffitied.
