General Manager Park Jun-hyuk expressed concern over the level of player discipline, stating he had reported other cases and believed the KBO’s penalties were substantial [1].

KBO Commissioner Jeong Cheol-won hinted at the possibility of Kim Dong-hyuk’s release from the team, stating, “Unfortunately, the player (Kim Dong-hyuk) who received 50 games was left from the team.” [1] However, the Lotte Giants swiftly denied these claims, asserting that Kim Dong-hyuk had not been released [1].
