Far Bridge, a prominent 6-year-old Thoroughbred and son of English Channel, has been temporarily removed from competition after sustaining a minor injury, according to Randy Sarf of owner LSU Stables. The horse, who last competed in the Grade 3 Pan American Stakes, will require rest before returning to training, with hopes he can rejoin trainer Miguel Clement in time for the Breeders’ Cup.

Sarf confirmed to the Daily Racing Form that Far Bridge “got nicked up a little bit” during his most recent start. The owner expressed optimism about his return, stating, “He needs a little rest,” but emphasized the team’s goal of preparing him for the Breeders’ Cup.
