Czech pop icon Lucie Bílá will capture on a double role in the new musical, “Ordinary Girl,” portraying both the celebrated singer Rebeka Gray and the unassuming seamstress, Dáša. The Story Behind the Musical
“Ordinary Girl” centers around Rebeka Gray, a superstar who longs for a break from the spotlight just as a major tour with fellow music legend René Skalský is about to start. Unexpectedly, Dáša, a skilled seamstress, enters the picture, offering a solution and setting off a chain of events filled with mistaken identities, disguises, and high stakes. The musical explores whether the tour can be saved without revealing a significant secret and if Dáša will uncover happiness along the way.
Lucie Bílá’s Dual Performance
Lucie Bílá will perform both lead roles – Rebeka Gray and Dáša – without an understudy. As Bílá herself noted, “It’s a beautiful story about a singer who needs to take time off. It’s not me.
