Cloonkeen, Glenamaddy, County Galway, is mourning the loss of Mae Murray, who passed away peacefully on January 7th, 2026, at University Hospital Galway (UHG), surrounded by her cherished family and friends. A beloved member of the community, Mae’s passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

A Life Well-Lived

Born to Tommy and margaret Mulryan, Mae enjoyed 42 years of marriage to her husband, Éamon Murray, before his passing. She is lovingly remembered by her sister,Julie Healy,and a large family of nieces,nephews,extended family,neighbors,and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing will take place at her residence on Friday evening, January 9th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Attendees are kindly requested to park at Dolans (F45 PD93), where a shuttle bus service will be provided to Mae’s home.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 10th, at 11:30 AM in St.patrick’s Church,Glenamaddy.Following the Mass,Mae will be laid to rest in the Old Cemetery,Glenamaddy.
