Fall River, MA – A man’s body was recovered from the Quequechan River in Fall River, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

Details of the Recovery

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, emergency services received a call around 9:00 a.m. Reporting a body in the water near the Quequechan Trail. Fall River police responded to the scene and retrieved the body from the river.

Paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene. The identity of the deceased is currently being withheld pending notification of next of kin and confirmation by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
