Maria Keane, Waterford Woman, Remembered Following Recent Passing

Maria Keane (née Guinan), a resident of Pinewood Avenue, Hillview, Waterford City, Ireland, passed away on February 20, 2026. She was formerly of St Johns Park. Her death has prompted an outpouring of condolences from the Waterford community.

A Life Remembered

Born to Eily and Michael Guinan, Maria Keane is survived by her husband, Seamus, sons Trevor and Gary, daughter Karen, daughters-in-law Michelle and Alina, son-in-law Anthony, and grandchildren Sophie, Adam, Danny, and Zack. She is also remembered by her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, with vigil prayers and Rosary at 4:30pm. A Requiem Mass will be held on arrival at Sacred Heart Church, The Folly, on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 2:30pm, followed by a private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Oak Ward, South East Palliative Care.
