Influencer Marna Haugen is Engaged

Norwegian influencer Marna Haugen, known for her presence on Instagram and appearances in reality television programs, announced her engagement on Monday, February 16, 2026. She shared the news in a post on Instagram, stating, “I said YES!”

Mountain Top Proposal

The proposal took place while skiing in the mountains, according to a text message Haugen sent to VG. She initially mistook her boyfriend’s actions for adjusting his ski bindings before realizing he was proposing. Haugen described the moment as tearful and a clear “yes,” adding that they are now “really in the bubble of happiness.”

Previous Relationship and Career

Haugen has over 300,000 followers on Instagram and has participated in reality shows such as “The Guardian” (Vokteren). She previously divorced comedian Ørjan Burøe in 2021 after 18 years of marriage. The couple, who have two sons together, reached a mutual agreement to separate, as reported by Dagbladet at the time.

Recent Health Journey

In November 2024, Haugen announced she was cancer-free after a five-year period of monitoring following treatment for cervical cancer. She had previously been diagnosed with cancer in 2012, with a tumor found in her placenta, and again in 2019 with cervical cancer. Se og Hør reported on her emotional reaction to receiving the news.

Support from Colleagues

Fellow influencer Iselin Guttormsen congratulated Haugen on her engagement in the comments section of her Instagram post. Guttormsen had previously shared with VG in 2023 that she was in love, after confirming she had found new love a couple of months prior.

Haugen has expressed that her fiancé prefers to maintain a low profile.
