Marshall Track & Field Set for Sun Belt Indoor Championships

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The Marshall University Track & Field team will compete in the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships starting Monday, Feb. 23 at the Birmingham Crossplex in Alabama.

The two-day championships begin on Monday at 11 a.m. Eastern time (10 a.m. Central time), concluding on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 5:40 p.m. Eastern time (4:40 p.m. Central time).

Entering the championships, Marshall athletes hold top-8 rankings in 23 events. Senior Lara Check leads the conference in the Women’s Long Jump with a school record mark of 6.19m.

Arkansas State is the defending conference champion in both the Men’s and Women’s indoor competitions.
