“Home Alone” Star Daniel stern to Sculpt iconic Tarantula Scene for Film’s House
Daniel Stern, best known for his role as Marv Merchants in the beloved Christmas classic Home Alone, is creating a bronze sculpture commemorating the film’s infamous tarantula scene. Commissioned by the current owners of the iconic house in Winnetka,illinois,the sculpture will be displayed at the property,delighting fans of the 1990 film.
The Sculpture: Recreating a Comedic Scream
The sculpture will depict the moment marv screams in terror as a tarantula appears to crawl onto his face. Stern, now 68, revealed he’s thrilled with the project, which allows him to revisit a memorable moment from his career.
