In this key role, you’ll help ensure a smooth, welcoming clinical experiance for patients and families–from check-in to check-out.

Location: MSK Nassau, 1101 Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale, NY 11553

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days/week, fully onsite. Hours vary between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm (Monday-Friday, occasional weekends). Schedules are provided one week in advance, and versatility between shifts is expected.

Role Overview:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for our patients in the outpatient clinic setting
  • Support clinic operations through patient scheduling,registration,and flow management
  • Provide hands-on assistance with preparing exam rooms,rooming patients,obtaining vital signs,and reviewing/updating allergies/pharmacy/medication lists as needed
  • Facilitate timely and clear dialog between patients,providers,and the team
  • maintain MSK’s standards for cleanliness,safety,and infection control are met
  • Serve as an advocate for patient comfort,access,and satisfaction throughout the care journey

Key Qualifications:

  • high School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare,customer service,or patient-facing role
  • Ability to work onsite in a clinical environment,including performing basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs
