Reading Public Library Announces 2026 Celebrity Bartender Lineup
The Reading Public Library is bringing back its signature blend of community spirit and cocktails for the 12th annual Celebrity Bartender fundraiser. This high-energy event trades professional desks for cocktail shakers, bringing together local leaders to raise essential funds for literacy and cultural programming in the city.
Event Details and Fundraising Goals
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 5 p.m. To 8 p.m. It will accept place at the Saucony Creek Franklin Station Brewpub, located at 100 S. Seventh St. In Reading, PA.
The primary goal for this year’s fundraiser is to raise $15,000. According to Carolyn Spano, the Director of Development and Communications, the support generated by this event directly impacts the library’s ability to provide free resources and opportunities to the public. Proceeds will specifically benefit free access to music, art and educational programming for children, teens, and adults.
Meet the 2026 Celebrity Bartenders
Four local professionals have stepped up to serve as the faces of this year’s campaign. These individuals will mix and pour drinks while interacting with guests to generate donations:
- Kaitlin Daley: Assistant District Attorney for the Berks County District Attorney’s Office and the Reading Public Library’s Board President.
- Izzy Gonzalez: Co-owner and Associate Real Estate Broker at Atlas Land, and Homes.
- Sabrena Elmarzouky: Owner of Queens’ Cafe.
- Peter Rye: Chief Strategy Officer at Brentwood Industries Inc.
How to Attend and Support
Admission to the event is free, making it an accessible social gathering for the entire community. While no tickets are required to attend, guests are encouraged to donate to support the library’s mission. All tips collected at the bar during the event will benefit the Reading Public Library.

For those who wish to contribute in advance, donations are being accepted via JustGiving. For further information, interested parties can contact Carolyn Spano at carolyn.spano@readingpubliclibrary.org.
