The 41st edition of the Radio France Occitanie Montpellier Festival will be held from July 5 to 18. Several big names have just been announced, between symphonic repertoire, romantic songs, opera and jazz.
The Radio France Occitanie Montpellier Festival is beginning to reveal the outlines of its 2026 edition. Faithful to its spirit of openness, the event will mix major works from the repertoire, international soloists and more transversal proposals.
On July 6 at Corum, Iván Fischer will conduct the Budapest Festival Orchestra alongside violinist Renaud Capuçon in a program devoted to Brahms and Schumann. The next day, Christian-Pierre La Marca will perform the Dvořák Concerto before the Pastoral Symphony the Beethoven.
On July 13, the Opéra Comédie will welcome Matthias Goerne for The Winter Journey by Schubert, accompanied by Mikhail Pletnev, while the Domaine d’O will vibrate to the sound of the Snarky Puppy collective, a group crowned with several Grammy Awards.
Opera will return with Tristan and Isolde of Wagner at the Corum, and Camille will offer a symphonic concert with the Montpellier National Orchestra, revisiting his repertoire in a new orchestral format.
Between romantic music, 19th century symphonism, opera and contemporary jazz, this 41st edition confirms the plural identity of the Radio France Festival, a major event of the Montpellier summer.
