Netflix has secured the rights to distribute “The Baddest Speechwriter of All,” a short documentary that recently earned the Short Film Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film festival.The film chronicles the life and work of Clarence B. Jones, a pivotal, yet often overlooked, figure in American history.

The documentary highlights Jones’s crucial role as a speechwriter and close advisor to Martin Luther King Jr. during the Civil Rights Movement.he was instrumental in crafting some of dr. King’s most iconic addresses, including the “I Have a Dream” speech. The film explores Jones’s personal journey, his contributions to the movement, and the profound impact of his work.
