Morocco’s AMMC Boosts Financial Literacy Among Youth with Global Money Week 2026
The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) is reaffirming its commitment to financial education for young people through its mobilization for the 14th edition of Global Money Week, an international campaign initiated by the OECD/INFE.
From March 16th to April 11th, 2026, the AMMC will implement a comprehensive financial education program combining on-the-ground activities for young people and the production of new digital content. The campaign, themed “Let’s Talk About Finance,” aims to raise awareness among young people about financial issues to promote informed decision-making and future economic resilience.
Global Money Week: A Worldwide Initiative
Since its launch, Global Money Week has involved 170 countries, with diverse programs reaching over 71 million children and young people, and 19 million adults. In Morocco, the 2025 edition reached more than 1.2 million beneficiaries.
National Coordination and Long-Term Commitment
Coordinated nationally with the Moroccan Foundation for Financial Education (FMEF), Global Money Week is a key event for the AMMC. Since 2018, the Authority has multiplied initiatives to make the world of capital markets accessible to young people.
Activities for the 2026 Edition
For this 14th edition, the AMMC is deploying a variety of activities, including:
- The organization of the 6th edition of the “Quiz Finance” competition for 8 high schools across 6 regions of the Kingdom.
- Immersion days and training workshops for students at leading schools and universities.
- The organization of the 3rd edition of the Comic Strip competition, in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports (MENPS).
a modular educational pathway will be deployed on the “The Capital Market for All” portal.
