Moscow Day School Announces Annual Rummage Sale to Support Preschool Program
Moscow Day School in Moscow, Idaho, will hold its annual rummage sale on Saturday, May 2, 2026, to raise funds for its childcare and preschool programs. The event will take place from 10 a.m. To 2 p.m. At the First Presbyterian Church of Moscow. Proceeds will directly support the nonprofit preschool’s operations, including teacher salaries, classroom supplies, and facility maintenance.
The school, which has served the Palouse community for over 45 years, provides care for children aged six weeks to five years. It emphasizes low teacher-to-student ratios to ensure individualized attention. Organizers state that all funds raised will go back into the center to maintain accessible early childhood education for local families.
The rummage sale will feature donated items such as clothing, toys, books, shoes, household goods, a play kitchen, an art easel, and a weight bench. The event coincides with the opening weekend of the Moscow Farmers Market and the Moscow Renaissance Fair.
As a parent-run, not-for-profit center, Moscow Day School relies on community fundraising to sustain its programs. The school’s parent board organizes events throughout the year to support competitive teacher pay and accessible education.
