Juan Martín Gaspar, 51, appeared in court on Tuesday, December 2, facing accusations of defrauding multiple families in san José. Gaspar is alleged to have accepted payments from mothers for the organization of his daughters’ quinceañera celebrations but failed to deliver the promised services.
The suspect entered a plea of not guilty,a decision that sparked visible frustration among the alleged victims present in the courtroom. “I ask for justice, no one listens to us,” one affected mother stated, expressing the collective sentiment of those impacted by the alleged scheme.
