Sarah J. Maas Announces Release Dates for ACOTAR Books 6 and 7

Fans of Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses series have reason to celebrate. The author revealed release dates for both the sixth and seventh installments during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast on March 4, 2026.

Release Dates Confirmed

According to Maas, the sixth book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series will be released on October 27, 2026, with the seventh book following on January 12, 2027. E! Online first reported the news.

A Four-Part Story

Maas explained that the story was larger than initially anticipated, leading to a four-part release plan. The first part will be A Court of Thorns and Roses book six, followed by parts two and three comprising book seven. A fourth part is planned but is currently unwritten. She described the first part as being approximately 400 pages long.
