BTS Drops Highly Anticipated Album ‘Arirang’ and Announces World Tour

Happy Latest Music Friday! The wait is over – BTS has released their sixth Korean-language and tenth overall studio album, Arirang, on March 20, 2026.1 This marks the band’s first release since members began fulfilling their mandatory military service obligations, and their first studio album in nearly six years, following Be (2020).1 The album is accompanied by the launch of the Arirang World Tour, scheduled to run from April 2026 to March 2027.1

A New Chapter for BTS

Arirang represents a culmination of BTS’s journey to date, defining the group on their own terms.1 The 41-minute and 13-second album features 14 tracks and reflects honest introspection from each member.1 The lead single, “Swim,” released on March 20, 2026, centers on the resolve to keep moving forward through life’s challenges, and its music video was filmed on an actual ship in Lisbon.1

Creative Collaboration

The album was written and composed in collaboration with a diverse range of notable musicians, including Diplo, Jasper Harris, Kevin Parker, Mike Will Made-It, and Artemas, among others.1
