Senators Defeat Jets in Overtime Thriller
WINNIPEG, Manitoba – brady Tkachuk scored 2:11 into overtime, lifting the Ottawa Senators to a 3-2 victory over the winnipeg Jets. The win marked Ottawa’s third in their last nine games.
Nick Cousins and Jake Sanderson also found the back of the net for the Senators. Tim Stutzle delivered a standout performance with three assists, setting up Tkachuk for the game-winning goal. Linus Ullmark stopped 23 shots in net for Ottawa.
Neal Pionk and Logan Stanley scored for the Jets, who have now lost four of their last five games (1-3-1). Connor Hellebuyck made 28 saves in the loss.
The game was tied 2-2 after two periods. Cousins opened the scoring for Ottawa in the second period, followed by Pionk’s equalizer. Stanley then gave Winnipeg a brief lead before Tkachuk’s overtime heroics. Both teams registered seven shots on goal in a scoreless first period.

Andrei Kuzmenko scored the lone goal for the Kings on a 5-on-3 power play. Los Angeles has now lost three consecutive games.
The Kings were forced to change goaltenders during the game after Darcy Kuemper was injured following a high stick from Mikko Rantanen.Anton Forsberg replaced Kuemper, stopping 17 of 18 shots faced.
