No. 1 UNC Women’s Lacrosse Opens Home Slate Against Ohio State

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 1 University of North Carolina women’s lacrosse team will play its home opener against Ohio State on Friday at 1:30 p.m. At Dorrance Field. The Tar Heels enter the game with a 2-0 record, while the Buckeyes are 2-1 on the season.

  • UNC currently boasts a 24-game winning streak, the longest in the nation. This is the third-longest winning streak in program history and the 11th-longest in NCAA history.
  • The Tar Heels face a challenging schedule, with nine of their opponents ranked in the nation’s Top 20.
